We don't know, whether Scott Monteith is a deadbeat. Neither do we know why he called himself like that. What we do know is that the Canadian-born is a great artist. Like so many of his countrymen, he developed his passion for electronic music the Detroit of the nineties. Since then, Deabeat gives us a little of his great love with every new tune. He is as diverse as love itself. From Dub via House to very strange Techno-tracks, this allrounder definitely knows what he's doing. Scape, Spectral, Wagon Repair and Cynosure are just some of his creative playgrounds. But he feels most at home among his peers - what was probably one of the reasons to move from Montreal to Berlin. With buddies like Mike Shannon, Mathew Jonson, The Mole etc, he could even start a Little Canada community with an above-average talent-density here. But for now Deadbeat will play a special techno-set on our FLY-BerMuDa Beatport Stage. Certainly with full canadian support.
