“Sky and Sand“ - a curse and a blessing! When Fritz recorded this Deep House ballad in the beginning of the new millennium, the world was apparently not ready for this exceptional talent. His brother Paul Kalkbrenner was already touring the globe, when Fritz just gave his voice to tracks like "Forms & Shapes" and "Double Checked" by his friends Sascha Funke or Ellen Allien. But with the movie “Berlin Calling“ came the breakthrough. 2010 was the year of Fritz Kalkbrenner. With his album "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" on Suol Records, he finally stepped out of his brothers shadow and is touring around the globe since. Besides working diligently in the studio on new projects, he still sings for label mates and colleagues such as Chopstick & Johnjon or Robag Wruhme leaving his destinctive mark on the music world.
We are glad that he will appear at FLY BerMuDa and teach us the lyrics of his latest songs to sing along.
